Much stuff again


US LST 1101 in dry dock, Kobe, Japan, 1945. My Dad was an officer on that ship as this photo was taken, though he is not in the picture.

The reason for drydock repairs...a bent propeller! That can be a BIG problem!

Oh, those brave men/boys who so bravely and proudly served Mother and Country!

I watched the movie, "Memphis Belle", yesterday on TV. I'd seen it before, but it's so good, I was happy to watch it again.
Have you seen it? It's a story about the young American Air Force members who were stationed in England in order to man bombing raids over Europe during WW2.

The things they accomplished during that time (over 60 years ago) were truly amazing!
