It's coming again!

I saw this on some blog somewhere. It was entitled "Turkey Census".

A very feathered scientist.

A great big Blackbird leading the way.

Great picture!
There is one thing I probably will regret for the rest of my life, that I did not take a detour and go and see the Edwards AFB when I was visiting L.A. and Anaheim in 1986... :(
I still kick my self in my butt over that!

Oh Dan, you stealth my heart...

Or should I say oh stealth my beating heart...

It flies better than the wild turkeys we have about here...but I do know it cannot land in a tree.

And I like pets, too.

They are dedicated.

Thank you.

You post the quirkiest, most eclectic, interesting and diverse collections of photos Dan. On the radio yesterday someone said how many turkeys were killed for Thanksgiving each year. I was half asleep, but I do remember thinking "that is one heck of a lot of turkeys, even for America" (That's a joke Dan, please don't hate me!) Anyway, seems to me that if you're a turkey, every day except Thanksgiving is worth giving thanks for. What do the vegetarians eat? Maybe there are Tofuturkeys.

Me, I'd go for the real thing every time. Sorry turkeys, but that's just the way it is I'm afraid.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
