Allen's garage, first week of April, 2007. Marion (in dark sweater), Rachel (with glasses at the right side, playing against Marion), Violet (Allen's daughter, the little one), and Allen. The garage was rolling.
The first photo is from the earlier in the week, the second photo was Wednesday. The third photo was Thursday night, as Allen was saluting KLOS radio disc jockey Jim Ladd, for playing a great Led Zeppelin set.

Aw, thanks Dan! But I admit I had to laugh at:

Because you'd missed out on my extensive efforts ahead of time at making a homemade slide with an empty shotgun shell casing. lol yep...and whilst the idea sounds authentically bluesy, it didn't work very well in reality.Not really.
I give a sort of apologetic nod at the beginning of the video, but it probably wasn't clear why I was apologizing. lol
Yep, that slide was the most frustrating lacking item for me. ;)
But I KNEW you guys would recognize the song, even so!:D
*note* at the time of that video I didn't even have the new guitar yet. It;s the old ibanez with the short. I will say that my version has improved since then. I did finally figure out "part 2".
Although I hope Allen doesn't do 5 minutes of Plant-esque orgasmic moans at the end -I also have omitted this from my cover.;)
It's just not necessary.Or even pleasant sounding, not really.lol
