Music, yet again

This is a photo of my wife, Cruz, taken sometime in the 1960's. We still have an accordian in the house, though it is apparently a different one.

I now offer here, on my blog, a very recent cell phone fuzzy video of Cruz playing (trying to play) the accordian, with our Grandson, Jesse, also in the mix...

Once a sweetie, always a sweetie Dan.

So will Jesse pick up the accordion anytime soon? It always looks like such a hard instrument to play - so many things to do at once. I'm one of those people who struggle to rub her tummy and pat her head at the same time.

Fortunately, I am rarely called upon to do it.

Wow, I remember taking accordian lessons back in the 60's, too!!

Ooomm Pah Pah
Ooomm Pah Pah...

Love to fuzzy Cruz!

...and Margie, I doubt if Jesse would be able to pick up the accordian - let alone play it!

What a lovely snippet of video Dan. I admire people who can play the accordion. Like Marige, I cannot perform different actions with two hands let alone one ;-)

That's an absolutely adorable photo too!

That accordian looks like a beast to me!

margie:
Jesse picks up....everything, though it is not always what he should!

Dale:
You sound ready for Octoberfest already!

Vallyp:
I know what you mean. I cannot really play an instrument worth a darn, though my mitts try so hard.

hans:
Good to "see you"! Yes, so many of us really know that accordian, though many, like me, cannot play anything like that. It is a really common sound in many countries.

Hi Dan
You always show me something new and surprising. I have never in my life seen a left-handed accordean, and I can assure you I see at least three accordeans per year on average, so that's well over 120 now.
Or does your videophone flip the image horizontally?

And Margie / Vally
It's not all that bad. It's like patting your head and your tummy at the same time: easy.
