Huntington Beach

My wife and one of my daughters, at the sea. you can distinctly see the rolling hills of Catalina Island in the distance...beneath the gray, offshore moisture.

Me, Dan. Very scarey, I know!

Cruz!

Looking Northwest, towards the peir.

Maybe more later...

Hi Dan,

it's a long time ago I stood here.
Great beach with such a blue sky.
You live in a beautiful country.
Have a fantastic summer with your family.

Love from Germany
Stefan

Hi Dan,
Looks like you guys had fun there! Huntington beach looks nice, but have you been to Rincon beach? It's past Ventura beach.

Anyways, hope you have a nice 4th of July!

Hello again!
You're lucky to be going to the Rock Honors! I wanna go but I can't afford it right now. To get to Rincon, you get off of Bates road from the 1 hwy or 101. Can't remember which one, but it is a nice beach. It was one of the few best kept secrets since it's a city owned beach, but now more and more people are finding out about it, but you can still find a spot.

Hope you had a nice 4th of July weekend.

Ooooh, I remember Summer! Gorgeous pics Dan, especially the one of Cruz. What a picture of utter serenity and contentment.

I went to the beach last week too. "Mine" is on the fringe of the Otway Ranges (a mixture of rainforest and Eucalypt forest), with wonderful sandy beaches and fearsome rocky outcrops. It was wet, cold and also very beautiful. I must take a camera down next time - it's a nice place to share. California though, it ain't.

Hello Mr. Dan,

So glad to know that you'll be "in the room" on Saturday at UCLA. I don't quite know what to expect except that it will be historic in one way or another and I'm glad I'll be there.

For what it's worth, I'll be up in section 312B. Maybe we'll run into each other.

Peace and all good things,
Chris
