This is the latest view from the ranch

LOTS of snow above the abode!

Many thanks and words of joy, to all who visit here, and all who visit here often!

Please enjoy the photo of my home with neat-o Southern California weather....near the ocean, near the desert, near the giant redwoods, near the Grand Canyon, near Death Valley, near the home of Edwards AFB (home of Shuttle landings from space), near to Catalina Island, near to Hollywood (ugh), near to....blah blah blah...

...We live in heaven!

...But my wife is not well. Heaven will wait. We live for each other, and that is what it is.

To all visitors:
May God bless all of you, and all of your families this blessed season!

Thanks for sending the pic, Dan! I am still waiting for a major dump of snow...
Your mountains are beautiful in their wrap of white - you do live in heaven! It certainly compares to my own piece of paradise.

Please give my best to Cruz. She is lucky to have you, Dan.

What a beautiful view and sight Dan. You are blessed indeed to have that, but I am also very sorry to hear your wife isn't well. No view can make up for that distress.

Give her my very best too Dan, and I agree with Dale here. She is lucky to have you, or maybe it is that you are both blessed in each other. xx

Dear Dan

Thanks for a whole year of regular visits to my blog, and the wise and friendly comments you left. Thanks also for the personal messages you send me now and then.
All of this is much appreciated.

My dearest wish for you now is, of course, for Cruz to get well soon.

So for you, Cruz and your family, here's a wholehearted Gelukkig Nieuwjaar from Holland.

I live out here too. It was so nice to get some snow again! Hopefully next December we'll get it on Christmas day. I only like winter when there's snow.

Hope you and your family had a nice Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dear Dan our mountain man, thank you so much for visiting my blog...you were absolutely at the right one.

I know it's confusing if you go to my profile, isn't it? You see all my other nonsense there too..lol, but Vereeniging is the main one. The others are just occasionally updated. Love to Cruz and hope she's feeling better every day.

She has her Dan to lift her spirits and that's half the battle when it comes to health. xx

Hi Dan,

we got snow last weekend and now it's very cold (-12° Celsius). All looks very good with the snow.

Wish you and you family a Happy New Year.

Love from Germany
Stefan
