Father's Day this Sunday

Saint Joseph with Jesus. I really like this painting.

Me, long before I was a Dad.

Happy Father's Day!

Hey Dan
Well remember me. I am back. Happy Fathers day. I am actually in a hotel room in Boston away from my boys...which is killing me. At least we had breakfast this morning. Im glad to see a father as proud as I am. Have a blessed day.
Happy Fathers Day
michael :)

Gee whiz, I love to hear from you all, and so many thanks!

I certainly wish the best for your own Dads, and all that happens with Dads everywhere.

Thank you,

Hi Dan, and belated Father's Day wishes to you. This one crept up on me, as we don't celebrate it here until September.

I love that pic of you with the truck! You look so proud.

Thanks for dropping by over on mine again - it's always lovely to see you.

Ah Dan, as a dad yourself, you can appreciate what being a dad really means to your own father.

The pictures are lovely. I also like that painting especially.

You have a wonderful fund of old photos, and I love your blog for its quirky eclectic assortment of pictures and pieces. Thanks for making me smile!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I do love New Orleans - and always will - in my own special way. It'll always be dear to me. I get back there about once or twice a year to visit my parents.

If you've never read A Confederacy of Dunces, you must. It's rip-roaring funny and captures the place perfectly.
