The Sr-71 Blackbird - You had to have been there, but this will help

They don't fly anymore, but oh...when they did! Even while powering up on the ground, they looked awesome!

You can still visit one of these awesome aircraft at a museum near you. Even in England, for you folks over there.

This puppy reminds me of a fly that I'll see come July. Never fails. I'm serious. This fly wears a mask; it's white, the mask, but the wings and the body are a lot like the Sr-71. I'd named the scary fly Ace Freely but I think Blackbird suits.

Thanks for the precision. Hello to your family!

Hello Dan, me again! :-) I was sorry to see you'd missed ITA. I know what it means to have a slow computer system. I tend to believe you buy one and that's it. It's a condition of being raised in the 60's-70's. You buy one of something to last you a life time. I remain in that spirit!

I probably won't get to see ITA this week. Too much is going on. Still, I made a request for a couple of Joni Mitchel tunes for Rachel to perform and especially for her to play one, at least, at the close, as that it when I might (maybe, maybe) be able to watch.

My best to you and your family!
