Oooops, it's a turkey, not a fish...sheesh what a dummy I am..it's thanksgiving of course...
Haha, my word verification is WHINE! That's somthing I shall try very hard not to do this cold, grey, sleety, snowy, mushy miserable Sunday in Holland.
That was beautiful, Dan!! You flying boy, you. I know that is something very close to your heart. ...as well as your entire Family. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving down there in the So Cal sun!
Oh Dan, what can I say? I remember this vid from when you first posted it - I'm not imaginining that am I? Watching it now brings a tear to my eye. What a gift Jesse is, and what a wonderful, loving man his Grandpa is.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too Dan, and may the year ahead be full of joy, good health and laughter shared with your beautiful boy.
Aside from Christmas, Thanksgiving is my favourite Holiday! We celebrate it earlier here in Canada - the second Monday in October. As Autumn is my favourite season, it all fits in rather well.
Dale, not my computer, just my browser! I've seen it Dan and it's gorgeous. What a lovely selection and collation of images, against the backing music of our wonderful Pete. Everything that means something to you encapsulated.
And yes, Gtace, try a different browser. For me it worked on Firefox.
oh firefox, have that on my pc, will try that. thnx.
Happy thanksgiving. Dan. Hope you and your family are well, come by my blog for a little thanksgiving video comedy.(billy crystal and Robert Deniro.) :)
Hi Dan, last week I sent you an email and today I got it back again. It seems that I never manage to send emails to people with aol.com accounts as my brother has it too and my loving sibling messages to him always bounce back to me as well. Suffice to say it was a warm and friendly mail, and maybe some other time it will work. Hope you and yours are well and thriving Dan.
By the way, Koos really enjoyed your comment on his blog...hehe..we women know so much! x
Hello again Dan. Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, and that not too many turkeys were harmed in its making (actually I don't mind too much about them - I was attacked by one as a child and since then have had no problem eating them in a sort of mass culinary revenge).
Hope you had a good thanksgiving, I had a good one.
I read your last post on politics. I too have different points of view on some of the issues, but I do respect your views and I'm glad that you respect ours too. I get turned off when people shove their political beliefs down my throat or when they tell me I'm wrong.
Hi Dan, just popping by to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas together and a fabulous 2009. Looking forward to 'seeing' you next year! Love from Val and Koos
In California, enjoy hiking & mountaineering.
I work in the shipping dept. of a major automotive company.
I have an A.A.Degree. I am a former aerospace inspector, multiple weapons systems.
Am very much about teaching my children about life. They have been raised hanging around Edwards Air Force Base watching the SR-71 Blackbird in it's final years, visiting the Grand Canyon, redwood trees at Big Basin & Big Sur, Catalina Island, cruising up to the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains, Sunday Mass at many locations -- a California Mission, monastaries, etc.
My sweet & beautiful wife, Cruz, means the world to me. I thank God for bringing her to me and blessing us with 4 daughters.
Listening to The Who has restored my interest in learning to play guitar. I really enjoy the style of Pete Townshend. That's where I am TRYING to go.
I would like to thank Pete Townshend, a man I have only seen on stage, but NOW HAVE MET!..., for putting his novella on a blog. It has prompted me to enter the blog world...a strange, odd place. "Sickness will surely take the mind
where minds can't usually go." -from The Amazing Journey/Tommy, by Pete Townshend.

I feel the same way - they used to poop on my car when I lived on the farm...
LOL Margie, a mass culinary revenge is it...just how many turkeys have you despatched in your life?
