My scanner is very abnoxious, and suspect of many things, but I managed to get this scrawly photo anyway....
A photo taken by my Dad in WW II, US subs at the ready.
I love this picture, it is a rare one. Click on it, it will "grow", but it coulda been better with a better machine scanner. I am otherwise pleased as punch.

I like the pic the way it is Dan - the slight graininess adds to the mystique. Subs terrify me - I am rather claustrophobic. The thought of being trapped underwater in one of those big sardine tins with people trying to blow me up ...! Erk.
If the naval security of the nation were left to me, I wouldn't give much for our chances.
The photo looks great Dan. Fantastic historic one. I went in a submarine once, I feel that I am too claustrophobic for that.
