Very festive!! Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to you and Cruz and your family! Happy 2006!
I used to live in El Cajon/La Mesa but moved away. I remember great sailing and hanging out in Pt Loma and I miss the old Gaslight District too. Enjoy the heatwave.
Thank you Dan for looking me up again. Seven? Wow! Yeesh!.
Hey but, I don't cringe over your posts at all. I'm bigger than that...I think and I hope that we all are. I am a sucker for the written word, tho. Yet I know music is first for so many. My interest has not been to drive anyone nuts in any way, but to be mindful of the craft presented and sensitive to the writer's needs. My worry is simply our author isn't aware to receive constructive opinion. He is well praised for his music, you see. I think I see that and for this reason I often feel at a loss on any way to respond.
I hope my comments don't make you cringe! My goodness...no.
My aunt had a shepard named Duchess, which she'd lost some patience for when I had to stay with her and her family during a "foster limbo". Duchess was clingy and for this reason drove my aunt out of her tree. For me, Duchess was a saint. She followed me when I was terrible sad and lost everywhere I roamed. You see, my aunt, uncle, and cousins, lived on some land. Pastures surrounded me. Grass grew past my knees. Pheasants flew up as Duchess and I would approach their nests unknowingly. She was strong by my side, attentive when I cried myself to sleep, and I was to her when she'd turn skittish during thunder storms.
I am always grateful to dogs, no matter their breed. They're loving and unconditional.
In California, enjoy hiking & mountaineering.
I work in the shipping dept. of a major automotive company.
I have an A.A.Degree. I am a former aerospace inspector, multiple weapons systems.
Am very much about teaching my children about life. They have been raised hanging around Edwards Air Force Base watching the SR-71 Blackbird in it's final years, visiting the Grand Canyon, redwood trees at Big Basin & Big Sur, Catalina Island, cruising up to the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains, Sunday Mass at many locations -- a California Mission, monastaries, etc.
My sweet & beautiful wife, Cruz, means the world to me. I thank God for bringing her to me and blessing us with 4 daughters.
Listening to The Who has restored my interest in learning to play guitar. I really enjoy the style of Pete Townshend. That's where I am TRYING to go.
I would like to thank Pete Townshend, a man I have only seen on stage, but NOW HAVE MET!..., for putting his novella on a blog. It has prompted me to enter the blog world...a strange, odd place. "Sickness will surely take the mind
where minds can't usually go." -from The Amazing Journey/Tommy, by Pete Townshend.

Hey Dan, I'm in the SF Bay area now.
Which old blog? I've had a few.
Isn't it nice we have Pete's blog. It really is a special place.
Cheers,
