My mother, the meaning of love. I lost her in 1962. I was barely four. I will see her again, someday. She gave me life. I will do my best.
My Dad is on the blog just a scroll down, if you look. He is the best. He did remarry, several years later. She too, is wonderful. I am surrounded by goodness, and it is OK.

As someone who wishes I didn't have my parents, I do feel for you. Its sad losing someone you love. It makes you treasure what you have even more. Good luck
ReplyDeleteI don't have experience of this myself, but my dad lost his mother when he was very young. You are surrounded by much love, though! That is important.
ReplyDeleteDear Dan,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that you lost your mother at such a young age. I lost my dad when I was 18 and my grandmother(who was like my second mother) when I was 10. I have still not gotten over it. I don't think we ever do.
But the hope of seeing them again keeps me going.
Best to you,
Zoe
Dan,
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet tribute to your mum. I agree with e.l., you are surrounded by much love, and it radiates from your posts.
All the best,
Anne-Marie
